One of Monteal’s top comedians is a multi-talented, French/English-speaking Indo-Canadian, with his own TV show and a growing audience in two languages. Sugar Sammy is the first English-speaking comedian to win (twice) at Quebec’s prestigious Olivier comedy awards, for Best Show (voted by the industry) and Comedian of the Year (voted by the public) in 2013.
